Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each session will begin with a postural assessment, which will allow me to read your body’s patterns in real-time. I look for where your body is moving well and where we could work to better support it.

Clients should wear clothing that they are comfortable moving in. This may include fuller coverage underwear, boxers or briefs, or a pair of athletic shorts. For those who wear them, a basic bra or a sports bra that allows easy access to the back and spine is ideal. A two-piece swimsuit is also appropriate. You will never be asked to disrobe beyond your comfort level.

A majority of techniques are done without lubricants like oils or lotions, except for Neuromuscualr Technique (NMT). Please refrain from applying moisturizers ahead of your session, as it can impede our work together.

  • Booking is available online through our website or through text.

We ask that first time clients book online in order to receive and complete the appropriate intake forms. When scheduling your first session, please select an option that says “Initial Session” in its title for the forms.

Returning clients can either book online or via text.

  • You are able to make changes to your appointment online up to 48 hours in advance of your booked time. This option is available through the link provided in the confirmation and emails.

We kindly request that all cancellations and rescheduling requests be received within 24 hours before the start time of your session.

All notices received in less than 24 hours may be subject to a fee equivalent to the full session cost.

If a fee is assessed, you will be unable to rebook until the cancellation fee has been paid.

We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

  • Please consider arriving at your session 5-10 minutes early to allow yourself time to park and use the restroom.

The door to my office will be open approximately 5 minutes before your appointment time, and I will be ready to welcome you. Should you arrive before then and find my office door still closed, I kindly ask that you not knock to announce yourself, as I may be attending to business or personal matters. I will come to retrieve you when I am ready, so please find a comfortable seat in the adjacent waiting room.

  • Payments are due at the time of service or prior to service when booking online. Please do not depart from the office until your fee has been paid or you may be subject to a 3% late fee.

We can accept cash, personal checks, credit cards through Square both in-person and online, and Venmo. We can also accept HSA cards.

  • I consider my work to be a form of healthcare. Rates are designed to eliminate guesswork about tipping and provide a clear upfront cost without surprises. Politely, I share that gratuity is not accepted.

The best tip you can provide is the referral of a friend, family member, or community member to my practice.
