Board Certified Structural Integrator

ScarWork Therapist

Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist

Monique Lefebvre

I am a bodyworker and a lifelong mover. If I wasn’t outside climbing trees when I was young, I was at competitive gymnastics, cross-country running, or lacrosse practice. Pilates, yoga, and adventurous outdoor pursuits have kept me active since. I graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Planning and Policy, where I also studied Environmental Education. During that time, I was introduced to wilderness emergency medicine and began understanding more deeply about how the body truly worked. I continue to maintain my emergency response certifications to this day.

Massage school found me in 2019, and I graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Arts. My drive to learn more led me to instruct Anatomy and Physiology for the next two years while I simultaneously pursued expanding my private massage practice and taking continuing education courses. In 2022, I traveled to Colorado to partake in a 5-day in-person human cadaver dissection, which only further helped my understanding.

A majority of my approach to bodywork is deeply informed by my continued studies with Tom Myers at Anatomy Trains (ATSI), where I graduated as a Board Certified Structural Integrator in 2023. I have additionally studied ScarWork Therapy with Sharon Wheeler and I have become certified in the Vodder Technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage through the Klose Institute.

I now exclusively offer bodywork based on my advanced certifications and no longer offer relaxation, spa-style massage.

I deeply believe in the transformation available to all of us through bodywork and look forward to sharing my practice with you.
